Purpose

This statement describes GuardRail’s high-level approach to security incidents and suspected data breaches.

Response Principles

GuardRail will use reasonable efforts to:

  • detect and assess suspected incidents,
  • contain and mitigate impact,
  • investigate root causes,
  • restore services where appropriate,
  • notify affected customers where required by law or contract,
  • maintain records of significant incidents.

Customer Cooperation

Customers should report suspected incidents promptly and cooperate where relevant.

Legal Compliance

Where applicable laws require notification to customers, individuals, or regulators, GuardRail will support compliance with those requirements.
